Why Use Panel Pillow?
Panel Pillow can be used all the time in all panel work activities.
From the moment a panel is removed from a vehicle or unpacked from a delivery. Panel Pillow can be used on your panel stands to support the panel during initial preparation, through preparing for paint and multiple painting coats, to the finished product. Assembly of fitted components like door hinges, chrome trims, badges or vinyl layers, can also be completed using Panel Pillow.
Panel Pillow provides full support across the width of the panel stands for all applications.
Usual panel stand foam and alternatives such as paper and rags are usually rigid and may cause damage to panels if excessive pressure is applied during repair, manufacturing, wet sanding, buffing, or reassembly processes. It can also damage freshly painted surfaces.
Panel Pillow provides deeper, even support with the thick foam padding across the full width of the panel stand. Supported panel sections are less likely to suffer from flexing during repair work.
Panel Pillow supports reduced panel re-work.
Panel Stands are really useful, but may not provide adequate support for the automotive panel you are repairing.
Panel Pillow provide a high density but flexible support for automotive panels
Panel Pillow flexes to the curves of your panel ensuring full support contact with your panel before, during and after repair.
Panel Pillow can be used in any workshop that uses panel stands.

The use of Panel Pillow is not recommended with oxy-acetylene, MIG, TIG, arc welding, or naked flames. Covers suitable for these purposes are currently in development and will be available soon.
Fitting and Using Panel Pillow
Panel Pillow has a flexible split and hollow centre that allows fitting to most brands of automotive panel stands.
Panel Pillow is not like the rubber tubing normally fitted to a panel stand. Panel Pillow does not need the panel stand to be dismantled for fitting. Simply slip Panel Pillow over the existing panel stand. The centre hollow will expand to accommodate the existing panel stand diameter.
Panel Pillow is a simple slip-on or slip-off as needed in around 30 seconds.
Yes. Panel Pillow foam cushions are designed to be flexible and can easily fit over the original foam or any paper padding that has been taped on. Simply slide the Panel Pillows onto the existing panel stand.
You do not need to pull your panel stand apart to mount your Panel Pillows.
A single Panel Pillow is 90cm in length and 20cm diameter before fitting to a panel stand. When fitted Panel Pillow may increase slightly depending on what it is fitted over.
